Veggie Tales Live

Last night we attended Veggie Tales Live at Christ Community Church in St. Charles.  My daughter had been looking forward to this event for weeks.

I learned something new last night.  Instead of veggies, the creators of Veggie Tales considered using candy bars instead.  Completely two opposite ends of the spectrum.  

I like the Veggie Tales.  Especially the shows that are Bible stories.  I am glad my daughter likes Veggie Tales.   One night we were reading in her Children's Bible about Jonah and as we were reading the story, she commented, "that's a Veggie Tale story."

Actually it is a Bible story that the Veggie's made into a movie, but that's ok.  I am just glad my daughter is learning the stories of the Bible, even if she is associating them with vegetables.  Both are good for her.  It can't be all that bad.
